camping

We really haven't taken any family trips for a while and we all were itching to get out an explore. WE headed to central Oregon. We camped two nights at The cove Palisades. WE were about 30 minutes form Smith Rock and about 1 hour from Bend. It was a great weekend that was much needed. The girls had so much fun playing in the dirt and in the water. we just had great family time together. i can't wait for more trips this summer!

We went to Smith rock which was were Nate and I went climbing together right before we got married. it was so fun to be back there and to see the climbs we did. Sydney really enjoyed watching the climbers. She thought that when she was 6 or 7 she would be ready to climb there.

Sunny weather = no blogging

The weather has been so beautiful here the last few weeks that we have been way too busy doing things outside to blog. Over mothers day my mom, my brother, Birgit Timo and Mia were all in town for the weekend. It was really great to see the kids all play together. Unfortunately Mia had a little cold so was not feeling so hot. But it was still great to have everyone here. Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Timo is just 4 months younger than Stella but he is the same length if not longer than Stella. He is such a cutie. He has the most beautiful eyes!

They were very cute together. Although Stella has the full defense up in this picture. Smug face, leg up to block any forward movement, both hands tightly on the ball...

Sydney made me a beautiful jar that she made ( with the help of my mom, thanks mom!) from things she found in the yard and neighborhood. She was so excited to give it to me. Can you see the proud smile in the picture?!
