We went to Portland for Memorial weekend. We went for a great hike in the Columbia Gorge to a couple of waterfalls. Sydney did great,as usual.
I made her a pair of pants that I am rather proud of. They turned out pretty cute. We have been having problems finding her pants that fit because her thighs are so darn chunky. So I thought I would make them.
We also started eating carrots this week. She actually like them. Her face in the picture may tell you otherwise but she opened her mouth for more.
She is getting her first tooth. Been a little moody and really sleepy. The part that has cut through the skin is really sharp, so I understand why she gets fussy.
She actually amazed us tonight. She pulled her self to a standing position on nate. It was pretty cool. She also did a tripod. She was on her stomach and pushed off her arms and was on her hands and toes!!!! Can you believe it! We are pretty proud. We 've got one special little girl.

Sydney is now eating oatmeal! She does actually keep some in her mouth. 

This was a small hike by the Nisqually river. She loved watching the river flow and the sound of the rocks flowing through.

We went up to the mountain today to enjoy the sunshine. We snowshoed around and took some small hikes by the river. It was really fun. She did great in the backpack 

Sydney had her six month check up and continues to be off the charts. She is weighing in at 22 lbs and 27 inches long. A healthy baby!

We have been having lots of fun in the sun. Sydney is enjoying pulling on the grass, playing with hands full of dirt and just being outside.
