Easter at the Beach

We had a great Easter weekend at the beach. Nates parents rented a house that we all were able to stay in. It was right across from the beach and views of the ocean from every room. It was a great vacaction.

Sydney got a kite in her easter basket. We were a little worried that we wouldn't get it up flying but it was so easy. And it was from the dollar store. We were amazed that it flew. She thought it was fun to see Nemo flying in the sky.

Nate was able to get a surf in. He actually caught 4 waves. It was pretty messy out there, but any surf is good surf.

Seussical

While we were in Chicago, we went to a kids musical. I wasn't sure how Sydney would do, but she LOVED it. She did so well and was folowing the story line and so curious about what was going on on ( and off) stage. It was a really special treat for all of us.

Chicago

Syndey and I went to Chicago to visit my mom and her husband one last time before # 2 arrives. We had so much fun and did so many cool things.

We went to this place called the Rainforest Cafe. It really was a jungle with monkeys in the trees and a rain storm. We got to sit by a huge fish tank. Sydney and I were fitting right in acting like monkeys.
